Good Fishing Day

Last Spring, I had an afternoon off so I decided to take Tyce fishing. We went to Fool Hollow lake which is just a couple of miles from our house. My last cast before leaving, I caught a 17" Rainbow. He wasn't too long, but he was a fatty. Tyce was so excited to catch a fish. I love fishing with my boys.

You can take the guy out of Idaho....but you can never take the Idaho out of the guy !!!!

I guess that you can say that I am a country boy at heart. I went to San Diego for the first time this last fall. I really did enjoy it. I love the beach. I don't think I could ever live near the ocean, but I honestly loved San Diego. My wife candidly took this picture one day while we were sitting by the ocean near mission bay in San Diego. She laughed saying "My Idaho guy". Just thought this was a funny shot, and I had to share it.

We just recently bought a little camp trailer. We got a smoking deal from my friend Rusty. We hadn't planned on buying one for a few more years, but this was too good of a deal to pass up. It is a 19' 1992 Fleetwood Prowler. It has some nice upgrades like A/C, microwave, and a stereo system. It sleeps 4-5 people which will serve us well for another few years at least. We are so excited to take it camping. I took it overnight with my Oldest son for the Father and Sons campout for our church. We are planning on taking it out next weekend as a family for a few days. (We were not even wanting to attempt fighting the crowds for memorial day). All of the people and their dogs come up to our area of Arizona for the 3 day weekends. We are excited to sleep in the soft beds in the camper, and stay dry if it rains. Anyways, here is a few pictures of our new home away from home :)
